'More funds should be available' for business operators

Ylr-news-19911288

Those who run a business are often denied sufficient access to finance, it has been suggested.

Mario Lafond, director at BrightSet Media, hinted that many worthy recipients are not handed credit.

He said: "The banks are saying they are giving a lot, but it seems to be not helping a lot of companies with different cash flow issues."

Mr Lafond went on to add: "What we need is action on the ground, [which] filters down to real small businesses."

It could be said that any measures to allocate funds to entrepreneurs will help stimulate the UK economy in the years ahead.

Meanwhile, the Forum of Private Business has suggested there is a large demand for finance that is not being matched by lenders.

In fact, the group conducted a study called the Economy Watch survey which showed that one per cent of firms polled believe access to funds has improved.ADNFCR-2353-ID-19911288-ADNFCR
