The will of Alexander McQueen has been revealed and the fashion designer has left much of his fortune to animals.

He gave each of his pet dogs £50,000, while donating £100,000 to animal welfare charity Blue Cross and Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

McQueen's housekeepers and family members also benefited in the will, which was worth a total of more than £16 million.

His dogs Minter, Juice and Callum are sure to be looked after well as a result of the fortune he left behind for their upkeep.

McQueen hanged himself last year and a whole host of celebrities spoke about their upset at his passing at the time of his death.

Kate Moss, who was one of the supermodels to regularly wear some of his most famous creations, released a statement that said: "Kate is shocked and devastated at the tragic loss of her dear friend. Her thoughts are with his family at this sad time." ADNFCR-2353-ID-800637777-ADNFCR
