Divorce case ruling will be "keenly watched"

A ruling in an ongoing legal battle concerning a divorce will be "keenly watched", it has been claimed.
According to a report in the Times Online, the decision will determine the behaviour of spouses who break up in the future.
The case is based on property magnates Robert and Vincent Tchenguiz, who are seeking permission to use thousands of documents which they took from the computer of Vivian Imerman.
They stole the information so that their sister Lisa Tchenguiz could use it in her divorce claim.
According to the news source, three senior judges posed a considerable number of questions and made comments as the hearing got underway,
It added: "The three seemed to be giving ... the brothers' [QC] quite a hard time - but then perhaps they were only testing the arguments."
Research published last month by fifties.com suggested that the average length of time it takes people to get over a divorce is 17 months and 26 days.
