Many organisations across the country may witness a downturn in the pleasantness of their working environment due to miscommunication with regard to their plans for the upcoming royal wedding.

That is if research published today (April 18th) by Badenoch & Clark is anything to go by, as this has revealed that 35.1 per cent of workers in the UK feel the uncertainty over holiday allowances and lack of clear direction from management personnel could lead to anger among employees.

April 29th - the day that Prince William and Kate Middleton tie the knot at Westminster Abbey - has been declared a bank holiday by prime minister David Cameron, but as the date is not a statutory holiday, some firms are considering making their staff work.

Lynne Hardman of Badenoch & Clark commented: "Employers may find workers react badly to what appears to be a last-minute decision - leading to low morale amongst employees."
