Expert: Employers to embrace remote and virtual working

Members of staff across all sectors in the UK are likely to see their employers continue to adopt more modern-day business techniques such as flexible working in the near future.
That is according to Dr James Bellini, a business futurologist, who believes that the trend of firms using remote and virtual ways of working will become more important in Britain.
Dr Bellini explained that millions of employees are already operating free of any fixed office or workplace and noted that this figure will carry on getting bigger as the business landscape evolves.
"There's something like four million working adults in this country already working in a free agent way … Four million is quite big and it's growing," he said.
Recently, the Orange National Business Awards found that 66 per cent of all companies feel technological advances will cause significant changes in the way they operate over the course of the next decade.
