Consumers considering the possibility of becoming a professional in the buy-to-let property sector have been advised that the current market may represent the ideal opportunity for them.

According to Darren Owen, director at Property & Finance Solutions, there has "never been a better time" for people with access to sufficient capital and mortgage finance to invest in houses as Britain's rental market continues to grow following the recession.

Mr Owen noted that it is "without a doubt" a good period to be buying homes, although he added that it may only be viable for a select group of people, as investors must accept that once they have completed a purchase "that money is tied up ... for 12 months realistically".

Recently (July 12th), Barrett East Midlands revealed that a growing number of first-time property investors are looking to find buy-to-let dwellings as the demand for rented accommodation continues to increase.
