A formal complaint about the NHS is going to be made by a father who blames the drugs his son was prescribed on the death of his child.

Harry Hucknall, who was ten, was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and given Ritalin and Prozac in a bid to control the condition.

But according to Harry's father Darren, the youngster was just a "normal" boy who did not need to be on the tablets and he blames them for the child taking his own life, reports the Daily Mail.

"Harry ended up taking two drugs that work against each other - the Prozac that fights depression and the Ritalin that can cause it. How can that be right?" questioned Darren.

Earlier this month, it was revealed by the NHS that £6 million is to be made available by the Department for Health to support projects and schemes in the coalition government's Volunteering Fund National Awards. ADNFCR-2353-ID-800576904-ADNFCR
