Good locations 'the biggest consideration for UK property purchasers'
Those looking to secure a property in the UK may agree that desirable locations are the biggest draw when deciding upon a place to make an investment.
And Halifax has announced details of research which showed that 41 per cent of buyers cite the apparent quality of the neighbourhood as being their top consideration - a higher proportion than any other factor.
Furthermore, the organisation suggested that many citizens are willing to undertake structural work in order to secure the right dwelling for their needs.
In total, 19 per cent of those polled said they want to move into a home that requires no work, compared with the 62 per cent who claimed they would be willing to make the necessary alterations.
Recently, Malcolm Harrison, a property industry expert, suggested that buy-to-let investors are becoming more active and the private rented sector has shown greater signs of expansion than previously estimated.
