Holidaymakers 'must check all-inclusive small print'
Posted by Emily Swanson
Britons considering the possibility of booking an all-inclusive holiday this summer have been urged to make sure they scrutinise the small print of any deal before committing.
According to Bob Atkinson, travel expert at TravelSupermarket.com, consumers must make sure they read between the lines of such packages prior to parting with any cash.
Mr Atkinson noted that reading the terms and conditions of all-inclusive breaks is the "key thing" holidaymakers should do ahead of making a final decision, as this will make it clear "what you are actually getting".
"Don't just assume that because it says all-inclusive everything is free," he warned.
Research published last week (August 23rd) by Post Office Travel Money revealed that 80 per cent of all holidaymakers jetting off under such deals ended up paying for items they thought were covered as part of their package.
However, Mr Atkinson insisted the only way to be sure is to go through the details of any contract with a fine-toothed comb.
